People-first hospitality is the foundation of the Nonantum experience. It shapes how we welcome guests, how we support our team, and how we create an environment that feels warm, familiar, and genuinely human. Many of our team members return season after season, building relationships with guests who do the same. That continuity, care, and pride in work are felt throughout every stay.
This approach extends beyond service moments. It shows up in how we train and support our team, how we listen to guest feedback, and how we prioritize comfort, ease, and inclusivity across the resort. Whether someone is visiting for the first time or the fifteenth, our goal is the same: to create an experience that feels personal, thoughtful, and genuinely welcoming.
At times, this philosophy also takes shape in quieter, more creative ways. Marston, a valued member of our kitchen team, brings care, focus, and pride to his work each day, ensuring our silverware is rolled with precision for the food and beverage team. Outside of the resort, Marston expresses himself through art. In collaboration with Marston and his family, we created the Nonantum Gratitude Project, which invites guests to pause and share a moment of appreciation with someone meaningful in their lives.
Guests may notice gratitude postcards placed in each room, featuring Marston’s original artwork. It’s a simple gesture, but one rooted in the same values that guide hospitality here: respect, inclusion, and the belief that small acts of care can travel far beyond a single stay.
By investing in our people and leading with care, we create an environment where guests feel at home and our team feels seen, supported, and proud of the work they do.
