Hello Tina and Jean,

I just wanted to drop you a line to let you know how happy Christine and I were with our wedding this past weekend. It worked out better than we could have imagined. Weather and location aside, a good portion of the wedding’s success lies with the Nonantum and its professional staff. Dawn Blystone, our coordinator, has been nothing short of fabulous since they day we first met with her in 2006. She was extremely well informed, always available when we had questions, worked with us in ironing out reception details, and was always in sight when we needed her this past weekend. Everything a wedding coordinator should be. Except, she did it all with a smile and in a manner that left my wife and I completely at ease on our wedding day. An invaluable feeling. She is an asset to the Nonantum. We had worked with numerous professional organizations to put this past weekend together. Some better than others, but none as impeccable as the Nonantum, it’s staff, and it’s wedding coordinator. As for the hotel itself, the grounds were beautiful and immaculately maintained, the rooms were fantastic, and I was told by many of the guests that they had all loved the hotel. Christine and I loved our room! The food at the Nonantum was lauded by many of the guests, from the dinner, to the breakfast buffet. The majority of the people were from NY and NJ. An area with keen culinary competition and excellent food because of it. Many of the guests couldn’t stop commenting on how much they enjoyed their meals. That is a tribute to the operation you run at the Nonantum. In closing, thanks once again for everything, and I wish you the best in your future endeavors. I would recommend the Nonantum without hesitation to anyone visiting the area.

Our family and friends still cannot stop talking about the wonderful wedding reception of Elizabeth and Alan last Labor Day weekend at The Nonantum. From the moment we first talked, you made the planning so easy. You listened to our ideas, gave us great suggestions, and helped us work through any concerns that we had. The wedding show was a wonderful way for us to find our florist, photographers and music duo.

But most important was the weekend itself. As the mother of the bride, I never worried about a thing – you and your staff were always available and responded to our questions and needs promptly and with a smile. Everything flowed smoothly and I was able to enjoy myself – knowing it was all in your hands. After the wedding, Elizabeth and Alan said, “It was the best wedding we have ever been to!” They enjoyed their day and were made to feel special. Tim, you helped us plan, the chef prepared new Louisiana dishes and our guests had a marvelous time. They loved Elizabeth and Alan’s entrance on the Pineapple Ketch. So, it is with great anticipation that we return to Kennebunkport and The Nonantum for Caroline and Mike’s wedding. After Elizabeth’s reception, Caroline said you would be a major factor in her decision to have her wedding in Maine. Once again, you are handling all our planning with ease and graciousness, and helping us to make Caroline’s reception special and unique for her. Therefore, we all look forward to enjoying Caroline and Mike’s wedding day with them at The Nonantum.

Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life.

Memories are created on this day and every bride and groom wants everything to be absolutely perfect. Having our wedding at the Nonantum Resort made our wedding day an extraordinary one. We knew the Nonantum was the perfect location for our wedding the moment that we stepped foot on to the resort. The beautifully landscaped grounds and the breathtaking backdrop overlooking the river made for absolutely stunning photos. The casual, yet elegant, indoor reception area completed the atmosphere and was the perfect setting for our wedding festivities. Our guests were beyond impressed with the wide array of hors d’oeuvres, dinner service and spectacular food. However, the most impressive aspect of the Nonantum Resort was the staff, who were always accommodating and treated us like royalty. All of the staff members were exceptionally attentive to our needs and went above and beyond for everyone in attendance.

It has been almost a year since our wedding and we are still getting compliments from our guests about how wonderful our wedding at the Nonantum was. We would highly recommend the Nonantum to any couple looking for an elegant wedding on gorgeous grounds with an exceptional staff. Our wedding day was everything we had hoped for and much, much more; a huge part of its success was the staff at the Nonantum and the resort itself.

Nancy and I cannot begin to thank you enough for everything you did to make Jessie and Billy's wedding day "PERFECT." From the lemonade stand to the ceremony, the total set-up of Tent, Tables, Floor, Decorations and on and on, we could not have asked for anything better.

"No" is obviously not in your vocabulary when it comes to requests. Your only answer was "No Problem" or "Not a Problem" or "Whatever You Want." Your can do style is very rare these days. Your management style is also excellent. We appreciate what you and Tim and your fine staff (arduous workers) did on that special day. The Nonantum is a special place! The setting, food, weather and total atmosphere was top-notch. We have spent the last week receiving compliments regarding, the overall wedding, the Nonantum and you specifically!

Wow! It's a week since the wedding and we are still smiling when we think of it. We had a Rehearsal Dinner & Meet N Greet...as well as a lovely breakfast on Sunday. (The wedding itself was incredible!) I could not have been happier with Dawn. The entire staff was friendly and helpful, from Dawn to the bellboys, they were great. I didn't think of Dawn as a salesperson, she really listened to what I wanted and helped me to achieve it. I was thrilled NOT to feel pushed or pressured into anything that I didn't want! Under Dawn's supervision the set up for each of the events was just beautiful. I was expecting picnic benches for our Lobster Bake...and instead found lovely tables, set with linens and surrounded by tikki lights. It was so elegant, but also informal enough for our occasion. I was trilled. The Meet N Greet was also set up beautifully. I was not expecting the candles, and the dessert table looked fabulous. The patio was also ready and beautiful on Sunday morning...thank you. Many guests told us that the food was the best they had ever had at a wedding. I guess you're getting the picture, I would give all 5's. From beginning to end, our experience at the Nonantum was a pleasure. Our thanks to all of your staff, especially to Dawn and Tim, for answering all of my questions an concerns with a smile and for helping to make Ben and Katie's wedding weekend really spectacular.
