Only 90 Minutes North of Boston / Less than 5 hours from New York City

From the South:

Cross into Maine from New Hampshire on I-95 and go past the first 4 exits. Go thru and pay the Toll in York. Now you are on the Maine Turnpike (and I-95). 

Exit 19, Wells Exit Directions:

Go 10 miles past the York Toll and take the Wells Exit (#19) off Maine Turnpike (I-95). Take a left on Route 9. Go 1.5 miles and take a left onto Route 1 North. Go 1 mile and just past "The Maine Diner", take a right back onto Rt 9, following signs for "Shore Route - Kennebunkport." Go 4 miles and cross the small bridge into Kennebunkport and Dock Square: Take a right in Dock Square at the center pillar onto Ocean Avenue. The Nonantum Resort is .7 mile on the RIGHT. Parking is either on your left (across the street from the resort) or in our Portside parking lot on the Right.

Exit 25, Kennebunk Exit Directions:

Go 15 miles past the Toll and take the Kennebunk Exit (#25) off Maine Turnpike (I-95), follow Route 35. Past Kennebunk High School on your left. You will come to a small rotary, go 2/3rds around the rotary and exit staying on Rt 35.  Go .5 miles and Rt 35 will meet Rt 1 at a traffic light in Kennebunk. Go Left at light for 75 feet on Rt 1 and go right at next light back onto Rt 35. Follow Rt 35 (Summer Street) for 4 miles (passing the Wedding Cake House on the way). When you get to the traffic light at Route 9 take a left at the Sunoco Station onto Route 9. Cross the small bridge into Kennebunkport and Dock Square: Take a right in Dock Square at the center pillar onto Ocean Avenue. The Nonantum Resort is .7 mile on the right. Parking is either on your left (across the street from the resort) or in our Portside parking lot on the right.

Coming from the North

Directions using Exit 32-Biddeford/Rt 111 Exit:

Follow Maine Turnpike (I-95 South) to Exit 32, Biddeford/Rt 111 Exit. Go straight thru lights crossing over Route 111. Go 1 mile and go RIGHT at next set of lights, onto Rt.1 South. Go about 3 miles and at next set of lights, turn LEFT onto Log Cabin Road. (Log Cabin Road becomes Arundel Road then becomes North St.) Follow for approximately 6 miles (passing the Seashore Trolley Museum half-way) into Kennebunkport. Take right onto Spring Street into Dock Square. Go 100 yards and take a left in Dock Square at the center pillar onto Ocean Avenue. The Nonantum Resort is .7 mile on the right. Parking is either on your left (across the street from the resort) or in our Portside parking lot on the right.

Summer 2011: Interstate-295 Construction

Guests, please be aware of the construction taking place this summer on I-295 in Portland.  The Maine Department of Transportation will make all efforts to avoid working from 6 a.m. Friday to 8 p.m. Sunday to accommodate for vacationers and summer traffic traveling during weekends.  Please use caution and allow additional time when traveling on I-295 between the Scarborough tolls and Freeport exits.  The Maine Department of Transportation has live webcams available on their website to monitor traffic patterns before embarking on your trip.  For more information on the project, please click here.
