The Portside Lodge

The Portside Lodge is a modernized building designed to take advantage of the resort’s waterfront location, and most rooms have a spectacular view. First and Second Floor Rooms have a private balcony or patio. Third Floor Rooms have large picture windows overlooking the Kennebunk River.

The rooms are decorated like private seaside summer cottages and have modern amenities including: a refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker, Cuddledown bedding and pillows hair dryer, iron & ironing board, air conditioning, cable TV, telephone, and WiFi.

Portside Rooms: Options include a private balcony, patio, or picture window view of the Kennebunk River, with either two queen beds, one king bed, one queen, or a queen and a twin bed.

Portside Family Suites: The Heckman Suite has a wet bar in the living room (with two pull out sofa beds), a king bed in the bedroom, one full bathroom and one half bathroom, and two private patios.

The Riverfront Suite has a refrigerator and microwave, one full bathroom and one half bathroom, a king bed and balcony. The second room has two twin beds.

All Portside Lodge rooms have been recently renovated and feature paintings from local artists – including Carol Santora’s pastel ‘boatscapes,’ Mimi Gregoire Carpenter’s paintings of ocean treasures, and Wendy Webster Good’s watercolors. To read more about our featured local Maine art, click here.
