The Nonantum Resort is one of the premier
locations on the Southern Maine coastline.
Many of our rooms have breathtaking views of
the Kennebunk River. The Carriage Inn offers
beautifully decorated Victorian style rooms,
some of which have a water view. The
Carriage Inn also houses our restaurant,
lounge and reception rooms. The Portside
Lodge offers contemporary décor, water
views, and amenities such as hair dryers,
coffeemakers, refrigerators, as well as
kitchenettes.
All
111 guest rooms feature
free wireless Internet access, air conditioning, color cable television,
private bathrooms, telephones and data
ports.
WHAT DO WE PROVIDE?
Once your wedding is confirmed with a
deposit, a letter of confirmation will be
sent to you. The Nonantum will provide a
coordinator who will work with you from the
start to the conclusion of your reception.
All your sleeping room requirements, food
and beverage needs, tables, chairs, linens,
china, glassware and other issues associated
with planning a wedding will be handled by
your coordinator and you. There is a
facility fee that covers all china,
flatware, stemware, linens, set-up and
breakdown.
CAN WE HAVE THE CEREMONY ON SITE?
Yes! You may choose from two locations, the
lighthouse or the gazebo located on our
beautiful lawn, which overlooks the
Kennebunk River. If Mother Nature decides
not to cooperate, an indoor option is always
available.
HOW LONG WILL THE RECEPTION LAST?
Our receptions are five hours in duration.
The social hour starts the evening with
cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. This allows
you and your new spouse to enjoy our water
view location for on site pictures. We will
seat your guests, begin introductions, toast
and simply insure that you enjoy your
special day.
WILL MY GUESTS BE GIVEN DISCOUNTED ROOM
RATES?
Absolutely! Your guests will enjoy a rate
that has been created just for you. A cut
off date for reservations will be assigned
and confirmed by your coordinator. Minimum
stays may apply. Dock Square, the center of
Kennebunkport, where you and your guests
will find shopping, entertainment and dining
pleasures, is a short and enjoyable walk
from the resort.
