The Nonantum Resort and Wells Reserve at Laudholm Celebrate
Earth Day 2010
40th Anniversary Weekend

2010 marks the 40th Anniversary of Earth Day. Worldwide celebrations and events are being planned to recognize the Green Generation. Join the Nonantum Resort as we do our part to bring attention to this important anniversary. Spend the weekend participating in workshops, learn how a 111 room hotel does its part in preserving the health of the earth, tour conservation trust properties and participate in an alternative way to commute to the Wells Reserve at Laudholm from the Nonantum. Be creative! You can choose to walk, bike, or roller blade from the Nonantum Resort. “Making a greener path” will begin at the Nonantum, wind its way along the ocean and through the woods and end at Wells Reserve at Laudholm. Part of the National Estuarine Research Reserve, Laudholm Farm is a 2,250 acre jewel along the Maine coast. The 6.2 mile journey boasts breathtaking views.Proceeds will go towards supporting the health of this important property. Bring your bike or your walking shoes and celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Earth Day.
