Quaint
and charming, the Carriage House Inn offers a unique
combination of Victorian era ambience,
contemporary service and first rate
accommodations.
Hardwood floors and high
ceilings greet your arrival in the lobby and
hint at a time when guests arrived by train
and horse drawn carriage. The coming and
goings of schooners and barges have been
replaced by lobster boats, yachts, deep sea
fishing and whale watch tours, but the way
you'll feel as you stroll across the lawn to
ponder the tide are the same.
All rooms in the
Inn have been updated with modern amenities
todays travelers have come to expect and feature: Air conditioning,
cable
television, phones, complimentary WiFi
Internet access, and a private
bath. While every
room in the Inn is unique, there are five types
of rooms to choose from.
55 of our 111 rooms are in the Carriage
House Inn.
Non-Waterview
Rooms: Feature two double beds or one
queen bed. Rooms are
tastefully decorated with unique Victorian
Charm.
 Westwing
Waterview Rooms: Feature one queen
bed and a large picture window overlooking
the River. Our west wing waterview rooms are
furnished with modern decor.
Riverview Jacuzzi Rooms: Feature one
queen four-poster bed, hardwood floors, a fabulous river view, a
two-person Jacuzzi
bathtub and a gas-lit woodstove.
Inn Family Two Room Suites: These are
two room suites with one bath per unit. Most family
units have one double bed or one queen bed in each
bedroom.
There are three river view family units with one
queen bed, and a second room with two twins.
One fourth Floor Unit has a queen bed and a
second bedroom with three twin beds. Inn Family units have coffee makers and some
have mini-fridges as well.
Inn Living room Suites: We
have four Suites with a Living room area and a
separate bedroom. Two of these suites have a
King Bed in the Bedroom and these King
Suites feature a jetted tub and a
mini-fridge. The other two of these Suites have Queen
beds in the bedroom. All four of these units
have pull-out sofas in the living room. All
Suites have a coffee maker.
New Bridal Suite
The Carriage House Inn is also home to our
Gift Shop.
